Q: How often should we practice yoga in the office?
A: We’ll sit down together to talk about your needs and budget to find a schedule that works perfectly for you. Typically, once a week is great, but twice a week is optimal.

Q: Where can we do yoga?
A: Yoga can be done anywhere. Most companies hold classes in a large spare conference room, common room, exercise room, outside on a patio {weather permitting}, or in an open space that can be partitioned off.

Q: I heard you need special yoga clothes, is this true?
A: You’ll need comfortable clothes you can move around easily in. No special labels needed.

Q: What else is needed?
A: Each person will need their own yoga mat. Mats can purchase for $20-$40. They are available at Target, TJ Maxx, REI, and online.

Q: What benefits are expected from practicing yoga?
A: Practicing yoga helps decrease the aches and pains from sitting at a desk. Yoga helps to stretch your body in all ways. Breathing practices help to create focus and clarity.

Q: Are the yoga classes appropriate for all people?
A: Yes, the classes are tailored to fit the needs of your employees. Modification are offered to make sure all students are comfortable. Most companies decide to have 2 classes, a beginner and intermediate class.

Q: Don’t you have to be flexible to do yoga?
A: No. That is one of the biggest misconceptions about yoga. Yoga can help you become more flexible with practice and over time. Being inflexible is a great place to start. The beauty of yoga is that you show up without expectations. It’s about the journey, not the destination.

Q: How long do the classes and sessions last? 
A: Great question! Sessions can be booked in 60, 90, or 180 day increments. Classes can be 45, 60, or 75 minutes in duration.

Q: If we have a class scheduled and something comes up, can we cancel the class? 
A: Absolutely. I understand that meetings get moved, conference rooms might not be available, or events come up that make it not possible to hold a yoga class. I ask that you give me a 24 hour notice to cancel, move or re-schedule any class. Otherwise, you will be charged for the class.
