Who is behind Twin Cities Corporate Yoga? Me! I’m Teresa, a yoga enthusiast with a passion for getting people out of their office and into themselves. Into that place where creativity, focus, and personal drive comes from.
According to Dr. James Levine, a Mayo Clinic endocrinologist, “excessive sitting is associated with 34 chronic diseases and conditions including obesity, diabetes, cancer, depression, and back pain. People need to be given the option and opportunity to get up during their work day.”
Years ago, in my corporate job, I would sit at my desk and wish I had the option to move my body or have tools available to deal with the stress from the daily grind of meetings, client issues, and sitting for long periods of time. My body and mind grew tired after a long day. Most afternoons, my creativity and motivation dropped and my brain felt fried.
Twin Cities Corporate Yoga was born out of my love of teaching yoga and my background of working in the corporate world.
I’m a former stress addict who turned to yoga to find a healthier approach to life. Yoga opened my eyes to a different way of seeing things. One that includes more peace, focus, intention, and way less stress. Now, I use what I’ve learned to bring yoga into your workplace, so you too can reap the myriad of benefits that yoga brings to your professional {and personal} life.
